Hi! Welcome to Lazella Rose Boutique! My name is Jana Chapa and everything you see in this website was handmade by me with tender love and care! Many of the bags pictured were made for a particular person in mind and that's who they are named after! I began sewing in 2005 and have discovered a passion I never knew was there! Every project I begin takes on a personality of its own...so no two designs are ever exactly the same!
I have a wonderful husband, Johnny who only nags a little bit about the amount of time I spend in the craft room...he is loving and supportive and I appreciate him so much! My two beautiful children Hannah (5) and Jake (2) keep me busy, but I manage to sneak a little sewing time in here and there!
Where did the name "Lazella Rose Boutique" come from? My grandmother, Rosa Lazella Beauchamp (she was lovingly called "Gee" by her family) was an angel on earth that God allowed us to borrow for a short time. She was my best friend until she lost her battle with cancer when I was 15. Not many days go by that I don't think about her and miss her sweet spirit and kind nature. She has a most unique name and I thought it only fitting that these creations be named Lazella Rose in her honor.
